Grief seems to come with its own vocabulary—widow, moving on, strong, closure.

But after Dave died, I discovered that some of those words didn't fit me at all.

Others carried meanings I wasn't ready to accept.

The words people use are often meant with love, but sometimes the language of grief can make an already difficult experience even harder.
