REFLECTIONS
Love After Loss
Loving someone new doesn’t mean loving the person you lost any less.
After Dave died, I never imagined there would be room in my life for another love. And then, unexpectedly, there was.
Loving someone new doesn’t replace Dave, diminish what we had, or erase the life we shared. I’ve learned that the heart has room for both—the love that shaped my life before and the love that is part of my life now.
One doesn’t have to disappear for the other to exist.
